An exciting opportunity to be part of the backstage team on a new production of the classic Kander and Ebb musical CABARET in London’s West End, directed by Rebecca Frecknall and designed by Tom Scutt.
The start date for this position will be 20 September 2021 (Please note that due to ongoing Covid regulations all dates are subject to change) and will be aSOLT/Equity Agreement with reference to the SOLT/Equity Minimum Variation Agreement.
The ASM will report to the Company Stage Manager, and work as part of the stage management team, overseeing all aspects of the physical production of CABARET both in performance, rehearsal and ongoing maintenance and repair. The team will look after the overall movement of props, furniture and actors on and off the stage to ensure a smooth running of performances, and liaise directly with all departments on stage (cast, lighting, sound, automation, crew) as well as supporting the creative team to realise the artistic vision of the production. The ability to work as part of a team is vital in this role, as well as the ability to communicate well and bring a positive attitude into our workplace.
